State of the Market in Sarasota
Each month the Sarasota Association of Realtors distributes a report of our local housing market. This month again shows positive signs including continued sales and a balance of inventory in some price ranges. However, a large portion of the homes sold are either bank-owned or short-sales. My personal business is strong. I am working with many buyers who are from out of town and want to take advantage of the extreme price reductions and either purchase a second home or invest in a property they can rent to recover some or all of the costs until they are able to spend more time here. It remains a difficult reality for many Sellers that their homes are now worth 50-60% less than they were in 2005. If you would like to look at some of the amazing buyer opportunities, visit my website at www.SarasotaAndBeyond.com To view the latest Sarasota Association of Realtors report, click on the link below. http://www.sarasotarealtors.com/Nov09Stats.pdf
